Hey everyone its a wonderful Friday! I wanted to take just a moment to talk about something that happened in the community yesterday!

We started working on a In Memory of Maleficent Auction Tuesday and we were all prepared by Thursday!

E & S Breedables hosted a all Amaretto Auction yesterday at 4 pm!
We were auctioning off Horses, K-9s, Banryard Birds, and Ponie Pals!
I think Snookie would have tried to sell me for such a good cause,

100% of all sales went to Tм Aмαreттo (Tmzasz Luminos), Maleficents rl son to help cover funeral costs!

When the auction started we had over 71 people on the sim and we did not have 1 no sale! The auction lasted for a astonishing 5 and half hours bring the last panel in at 9:32!

Maleficent will be missed by Amaretto and the community!

Together we raised 344,255 Lindens!

I have to say a big thank you to everyone who donated, purchased, attended, Snookie for calling and hosting the auction!

I love how strong we are when we come together and what a difference we can make! Ty so much and we will always have Maleficent in our hearts and minds!

Hey everyone hope you are having an awesome weekend. Today I want to talk more about the Barnyard Bird beak traits. A couple weeks ago we talked about Beak Color and today we are going to talk about another awesome beak trait.

In today’s connection I am going to highlight Beak Flaw.

The Beak Flaw trait comes from breeding “Starter Breeds” together or 1 starter with any other bird.

Please note that this trait CAN be passed on.

On May 22, 2015 Amaretto released the Barnyard Bird Update 2.0 Hidden in the 2.0 starters were Beak flaws Cracked Light, Sandpaper Light, Speckled Light, Patina Light, Sandpaper Dark, Speckled Dark, and Patina Dark!

I am so excited to show you all the cute new K-9s that our breeders are getting from the holiday 2017 k-9s. Everyone loves our classic wolves that came with the 1.3 K-9 update and now we have added two more Wolf coats as well as two more eyes and collars!

The cool new eyes and collars can come on either one of the new wolf coats and can come together or separate. Hope our K-9 breeders enjoy these new goodies and happy breeding all!

I’ve noticed several chatters in the groups say that they didn’t not know how to access back notices. You should always check archived notices so you don’t miss important Amaretto information, especially if you have notices turned off. So here is a brief tutorial on how to do that.

To retrieve past notices, you will need to go to the Group Profile. Group profiles can be navigated to by pulling up your groups listing, clicking on the group to highlight and then clicking on ‘Info’ from the buttons on the right side of the box.

If you are in a chat group, you can get to the Group Profile also. You will noticed buttons at the top of the conversations box. If you hover your mouse pointer over them, one will say ‘Show this group’s profile.’ Click on that and the Group Profile box will pop up.

Once you get the Group Profile you will select ‘Notices’ from the top and there you will see all the notices within the last 14 days. Click on a notice to see its text; if there is an attached object, click Open Attachment to take a copy of it into your inventory.

Now you never have to miss a notice, because you can always go back and view it! I hope you found this information helpful.

The meetings are a perfect way to meet our staff members and a great way to meet fellow breeders and community members! The community meeting is important to attend and participate in. It gives the breeders a voice and helps us know how you guys our customers are doing with our products.Amaretto takes pride in always trying to keep things new and bring innovation to our products. Today I want to remind older breeders and inform newer ones of an issue that you may have forgotten about or may not know about. That is the white, non-textured horn sculpt that shows up on some horses, but, does not show in the trait stats. This is a known issue with all regular horses that have the wing AND saddle trait. There is a bundle updater that will fix this issue if you will use it on bundles before you birth them.

This updater can be found at any horse food location: http://amarettobreedables.com/pages/locations

The box will say ‘FIX‘ on it.

As I stated above, all you need to do when you receive a bundle that is a regular horse model with the wing AND saddle trait together, is update it using the Bundle Updater Fix. This will eliminate the white, non-textured, non-traited horn sculpt from showing up on that horse once birthed. After doing so, you will have no further issues. And, this will, also, eliminate the need to file a support ticket to have the horn sculpt removed once the horse is birthed.

Let’s talk about the Amaretto Market Owners Coalition aka AMOC. As some of you may know AMOC is a group consisting of market owners and breeders who work together to keep breeding fun and to promote stabilization in the secondary market.

AMOC has General Meetings every month on the 2nd Friday at 1 pm at the Amaretto University & Events Sim as well as a variety of events and hunts!

Speaking of hunts the 16th BunKenNestKetHunt will take place the weekend of March 30th-April 1st.  This hunt is open to group members only and includes bundles (Bun), kennels (Ken), Nests (Nest) and baskets (Ket)  as well as special prizes!!  Remember if you plan on participating in the hunt you must be a group member prior to the day of the hunt as group joins will not be given out once it begins. Joining this group is by invitation only so if you would like to take part please contact any AMOC officer and they will be happy to send you an invite.

We wanted to start the week off right by announcing the next monthly animals, we know you all have been waiting! Let’s start with our awesome horses, from February 1st thru February 28th when you breed any horse with a Amethyst Primrose Eye to any color Bay you will have the chance at a Amethyst Primrose Bay! This beautiful coat DOES NOT have the ability to pass, but the all new eye DOES.

Now on to the K-9s. From February 1st thru February 28th when you breed any K-9 with the Aquarius Amethyst Eye with ANY color Staffordshire Bull Terrier you will have a chance at getting the new Aquarius Staffy! The coat DOES NOT have the ability to pass, but the all new eye and collar DOES.

Last and certainly not least the Barnyard Birds, starting February 1st thru February 28th breed any two birds with the Rhodenite Beak and have a chance at the new February Amethyst Bird! This breed DOES NOT have the ability to pass, but the all new eye DOES.

Happy Hump Day Fellow Breeders!

Today, I thought I would share a few helpful selling tips that I have been given through the years.

(These tips are in no particular order, they’re all important in their own way.)

• As with anything, whether it’s RL or SL, always remember Customer Service is a key to a successful business. Be nice to those repeat customers!

• Advertise! You can join the Amaretto Advertising Group at any store location. You can, also, check breeders profiles and markets to find other advertising groups. Be sure to check the group charters, though, so you stay within their spamming limits.

• Remember to double check that you actually set the breedable for sale. I know I, too, have priced items and forgot to click the ‘apply’ button.

• If your breedable is out for sale, many say it is a sales deterrent if the breedable is set to pet food. For sales purposes, most find it valuable to have the animals on breedable food.

• Do NOT put your breedables out for sale if it is in a red ban lines area. People can’t buy things if they can’t get to them. The same goes for checking landmarks to sky platforms or boxes. There have been many times I’ve TP’d to a location only to find myself falling! Also, make sure a LM in the sky is not on a parcel with Teleport Routing set to a ground landing point. You can check that by looking under “options” on About Land.

• Asking for pricing help usually does not get much help! The best suggestion you can get from anyone about pricing would be to go look around at the different markets and see what similar traits are selling for.

• It’s very important to be realistic with your prices. Remember the market changes according to the time of the month. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t set your prices and stick to them it just means you should be willing to adjust. Never have a panic sale.

• Try to create a nice display at your store, one that will attract buyers, or at least make it easy for the buyers to see what you are selling.

Now, if you’re selling your breedables at auction here are the biggest things to remember:

• Ensure you are wearing the correct tag before you rez anything.

• Always check auction rules before you rent your panels as different auctions have different rules.

• Set your panels early to give the auctioneer time to prepare their sales approach and time to spam for just the right buyer.

• To be a good seller, you, also, have to be a good buyer. If everyone only goes to an auction to sell that is not beneficial to anyone.

We all have heard them, ya know like white eyes pass easier than green, or if you birth your bundles 3 at a time it increases your chances of getting male!

The crazier the better have you heard about the one where I bit a head off a horse?

Ok maybe that didnt happen, or did it?

I want to hear from you guys whats the best myth or rumor you have heard about Amaretto?
