Want to show off your project?

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope your weekend is off to a great start!

There have been a lot of questions lately regarding how to get your project Horse, K-9, Bird (chicken/duck) or Ponie on the AMOC Facebook page for all the world to see! So today we are going to shine the spotlight on YOUR creations and just how to do that!

Do you have a special project that you have been working on and you would like to share it with your fellow breeders?

Did you know that you can submit that project/design that you have been working on to AMOC to be displayed in one of the many designer albums on the AMOC facebook page? Well you can! So how do you go about doing that?

1st decide on your base (coat, breed or style) eyes, mane & tail

2nd decide on what you want to use for the designer traits, for example:
Coat/Hair Hues, Wings, Horns, Saddles, Bridles, Reins, Headpieces, Ear Tips, Brandings, Socks, Hoofs, Looney Legs, Wild Hairs, Beaks, Legs, Wings, Noses, Paw Warmers, Dipped ears,Wings, Horns, Style, etc.

Wow so many to choose from and let’s face it that is where the fun comes in right? You decide what you want and how  you want your completed project to look like!  Now that you have done all that it’s time to submit your project to AMOC!

How to submit to AMOC:

Create a notecard and name it your creation name, avatar name & date then on the inside of the notecard list the information about your project/creation, for example:

My Creation by
My Avatar
06/15/19
Horse/K9/Bird/Ponie Stats
Parents Stats

Then list which stats you would like to see on your completed creation/project. It does NOT have to be completed to submit. You can always resubmit an update when you have completed your project.

Please do not send updates to add wing, horn and/or saddle styles to the existing designs. Styles will be included in your future submissions.

Parents full stats (including UUIDs) MUST be sent in with the designer.

Next take a picture of the breedable as it currently looks (you can always submit an updated picture at a later date). Make sure the picture is full perm and drag it into the notecard.

Now drop the notecard into the collection box just inside the AMOC Headquarters http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/A.R.U.%20and%20Events/100/157/21

Please do not send notecards to AMOC officers — all notecards/submissions must be put in the AMOC mailbox only.  Notecards that are put in any other mailbox will be deleted.

Your creation will be posted as soon as we verify that there has not already been a similar project previously submitted. If there is already a similar project we will verify the date the picture was taken and that will determine the creator (think of the picture as your copyright)!!

You will only be notified in-world if there is a question about your design. Otherwise, you should be able to find your submission, within a week, on the AMOC facebook page.

You can also see these directions on the website at https://www.theamarettofamily.com/index.php?/topic/19-amoc-designer-submission-procedure/

You can take a look at some of the many AMOC certified designers that have been submitted in the past from Festive Traits, Coloring Book, Sweet Treats, Reds Reds & more Reds and so many more right here https://www.facebook.com/pg/AMOCoalition/photos/?tab=albums

We can’t wait to see your designer horses, k-9s, birds & ponies!!

Until next time this is Snookie hoping you have a fun weekend.

Happy Breeding!

Year of the Horse!

Hey everyone! It’s a lazy cold Sunday here.
Today I wanted to show you guys a Charmed horse that you can still receive at random by any breeding of Amaretto horses.
When the version 5.0 Horse update came out on September 3, 2014 the ability to receive this exciting new Charmed Year of the Horse was also added!
Charmed Horses are very special horses that can be born at random from ANY horse breeding combination.

Charmed Horses are NOT able to pass their coats. However, you could get extremely lucky and birth another Charmed Horse.

When you breed a Charmed Horse (whether it is with another Charmed Horse or any other horse) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another random Charmed Horse.

The non-Charmed offspring of Charmed Horses do NOT have an increased chance of producing Charmed Horses.

Take a look at this beauty!!!

Charmed Year of the Horse1

You can read all about it and see more pictures here:

That means everyone has at getting a charmed horse.

Good luck and happy breeding everyone!

Happy World Kindness Day!

It’s another hump day fellow breeders and, what a great Wednesday this is, as it’s World Kindness Day!

World Kindness Day is an international holiday that was formed in 1998, to promote kindness throughout the world and is observed annually on November 13 as part of the World Kindness Movement. The goal is to champion kindness in society by highlighting good deeds in the community; to focus on the positive power and the common thread of kindness which binds us.

Let the spread of kindness be infectious! Studies show that when others observe kindness in action they are more likely to carry out an act of kindness, too. Pledge to join together to build a kinder and more compassionate world. #KindnessStartsWithOne

Hello everyone! Today is Thursday yay! Means its almost FRIYAY!!!
Also this is the last chance and call for you to go get your Armistice Day Editions!

This is the mysterious Headless Horse eye!

This eye has the ability to come from any of the following:
2019 Limited Edition – Headless Horse
2019 Special Edition – Headless Hound
2019 Deluxe Edition – Headless Ponie

I really like the look of this eye and I think you guys do to! These Headless Horse eyes DO have the ability to pass! What kind of creepy projects will you incorporate this eye into? Well everyone this is Ava over and out. Happy Breeding!

Where Did We Get Wings?

$

Ever wonder how we came to have wings on the horses? The Wing trait came from the Limited Edition Fall Fantasy Horses that Amaretto released in September 2012. These great looking limited editions had the ability to pass their wings, the Campfire Ash, Cornucopia, Autumn Leaves, First Frost, Ice Wine, Indian Corn, Thick Fog, Pumpkin, and Warm Cider. This was so long ago that LEs could still have any of the mane and tail traits, so if you were lucky enough to get a long long you were sitting pretty! They also passed the Fierce Mist eye.

https://horse.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=2012_Limited_Edition_Fall_Fantasy_Horses

The very next month Amaretto announced that by breeding any of the Fall Fantasy horses to two specific Haven horses you could get two brand new wings. By breeding the Fall Fantasy to the Memorable Haven horse, you could get the blizzard wing, and by breeding them to the Darkness Haven horse you could get the nightfall wing. Many people use one of these wings for their black or white trait horses, and I think the Fierce Mist eye could be used for either one.

From these amazing LEs came the 20th trait, the wing, which added to the many possibilities for making even more amazing horses! What’s YOUR favorite wing?

How cute is that face!

Hello everyone Happy Saturday!!  I hope your weekend is off to an awesome start!!  Today I want to shine the spotlight on the Face Markings trait for our Ponie Pals!!

Spring Editions were available from March 20th, 2018 to Tuesday April 3, 2018! Hiding inside these Spring Editions was the Daisy & Butterfly Face Marking!

Summer Editions were available from August 9, 2018 to Friday August 24, 2018! Hiding inside these Summer Editions was the Sol and Crescent Face Marking!!

On Thursday, November 22 any basket dropped could have the possibility to randomly get a new face marking Falling Leaves!

On March 9th 2019 Amaretto celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with 2019 Deluxe Edition Luck of the Irish animals that you could purchase until March 22nd, 2019. These Horses were hiding the Clover face marking!

On Sept 19th, 2019 Amaretto released 2019 International Day of Peace animals, hiding in the ponie was the Peace Face Marking!

Please note that these Face Markings CAN be passed on.

Where is my bundle?

Hey guys hows everyone? Well its Monday again! Yeah we all made it! So a lot of you guys have been having some bundles issues.

Let me shine a little light on the situation, Linden Labs had made some recent changes that have affected the way that some scripted items in world working.

I know that previously that people were getting any where from 1 to 20 bundles under the same mother. Now some people are encountering an issue where they are not getting a good bundle at all.

We are aware of these issues, and we are currently working on a fix we appreciate your patience while we find a work around.

What do you need to do? Well if your horse had more than one bundle and you get a SUCCESSFUL_BUNDLE please delete all other bundles that say “NEVER_RECEIVED_MOTHER_COMMUNICATION” or “MOTHER_HAD_SECOND_BUNDLE_IN_THREE_DAYS” and keep the good one.

If you did not receive a SUCCESSFUL_BUNDLE you will have to file a ticket. Once your ticket is filed we will ask you to send the broken Bundles AND the mother in a folder to the staff member working on your ticket. We will then send you the mother and the good bundle back.

I know it can be frustrating to file tickets, or have issues with your breedable, Amaretto is hard at work to find out what is causing this issue, and know its not just Amaretto a lot of other inworld scripted systems are having trouble as well.

If you need help filing a ticket please contact Avalon Crystal via im or notecard. Happy breeding everyone this is Ava over and out!

Breedable Spotlight: Enchanted Hell Hound

$

Happy Hump Day Fellow Breeders! This is the third in a series of Connections where I’ll tell you a little bit about some specific breedables and what inspired their creation. Today, I’m spotlighting the Enchanted Hell Hound.

A hellhound is a supernatural dog in folklore. A wide variety of ominous or hellish supernatural dogs occur in mythologies around the world.

Hellhounds have been said to be as black as coal and smell of burning brimstone. They tend to leave behind a burned area wherever they go. Their eyes are deep, bright, and almost glowing red. They have razor-sharp teeth, super strength, and speed. Hellhounds are called ‘The Bearers of Death’ because they were supposedly created by ancient demons to serve as heralds of death.

They are often assigned to guard the entrances to the world of the dead, such as graveyards and burial grounds, or undertake other duties related to the afterlife or the supernatural, such as hunting lost souls or guarding a supernatural treasure.

Whether you have lost souls to catch or a treasure to keep safe, the Amaretto Enchanted Hell Hound is, indeed, a very special K-9.

They can be born at random from ANY K-9 breeding combination.

Eye: The Lake of Fire Eye
Collar: The Key to Hell Collar
https://k9.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=Enchanted_Hell_Hound

Enchanted K-9s are NOT able to pass their coats, eyes or collars. However, you could get extremely lucky and birth another Enchanted K-9.

When you breed an Enchanted K-9 (whether it is with another Enchanted K-9 or any other K-9) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another random Enchanted K-9. Please note that the non-Enchanted offspring of Enchanted K-9s do NOT have an increased chance of producing Enchanted K-9s.

So, start breeding Amaretto K-9s today, you never know what surprise drop you may get!

Until next time…HAPPY BREEDING!

Brand History

$
0
0

Something always associated with domesticated horses is a brand. Horse owners have been using brands for centuries to identify their animals, and as a way to help prevent theft. Brands often include initials of the owners names or symbols designating their ranch or business.

Amaretto brands came about during the release of the 3.1 update. The first brands were boot, horseshoe, badge, ankh, skull, heart, hat, and wings. Those have since been put out to pasture but can still be passed from existing lines with them in the background. In June of 2014 Amaretto gave the exciting chance to have a breeder designed brand, when they hosted the Amaretto Country Fair as a fundraiser for Relay For Life. JonSnow2012 Resident created the very first color brand, the Rainbow Star

Since then we’ve had many more colorful brands including the Demon Rage created by Sera Renfew in 2015, the Zombie branding, also user designed from the second Country Fair, and the Moonlight Serenade, from the All I Want For Christmas auction in 2017.

Brands have also come from many gacha horses and LEs. Which is your favorite brand? I’m hoping someday there will be a snake brand LOL

It’s getting cold out there! Time to put those socks on!

Hey everyone hope your weekend is off to a great start and that you are staying warm & toasty or cool & chill depending on where you are!

Today I want to shine the spotlight on the awesome sock trait for our horses!

The Sock trait was introduced with the Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses that were on sale from February 7, 2013 through February 22, 2013.

On February 7, 2013 a twist to the Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses was announced. If you breed a Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses with a Limited Edition 2013 Valentine Horses you will have the ability to get a new trait called Socks.

From October 1, 2013 through October 9, 2013 the Limited Edition 2013 Fall Horses were on sale. By breeding these Limited Editions with any other horse you had the chance at getting 1 of 4 new Sock colors, Black, White, Green or Rainbow.

On Tuesday December 16th Amaretto released the Amaretto 2014 Holiday Horses at all Amaretto Locations!  Hiding inside these were the Winter Snowflake & Candy Cane Sock!  Spring Editions were available from March 20th, 2018 to Tuesday April 3, 2018! Hiding inside these Spring Editions was the Daisy & Plumeria Sock!

Please note that socks are an alternative to hoof traits so you may only have one or the other on a horse.  The Sock trait CAN be passed on.

For a closer look at any of these check them out on the wiki at https://horse.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=Socks

Until next time this is Snookie hoping you have a great weekend and a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving 2015 brought a plethora of goodies to Amaretto breeders! Random drops including eyes for horses, K-9s and birds. Additionally, horses could have a brand-new ear tip or wing. K-9s, also, dropped new noses and paw warmers. While birds gave new beak and leg traits. All new traits had the ability to pass!

In 2016, we celebrated with random drop eyes in the horses, K-9s and birds. All eyes had the ability to pass!

Amaretto piled it on in 2017 with random drops in horses, K-9s, birds, and ponies. We saw the Horn of Plenty editions in all animals. While the coats/breeds/styles did not pass, the beautiful eyes and K-9 collar did have the ability to pass.
