Charmed Zebras!

$

Hey Everyone!

Today I wanted to talk about some awesome Charmed horses you can still receive from ANY random breeding of an Amaretto horse.

These are the Zebra Charmed!

They are totally amazing!

These horses do NOT pass their eyes or coat. But if you breed a Charmed Horse (whether it is with another Charmed Horse or any other horse) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another random Charmed Horse.

So good luck at getting one of these amazing horses!

Hugs, Marku <3

Lovely Lusitano!

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying a great start to your week! I wanted to show off some new stuff from the 6.01 horse update! Lets talk about our brand new starter set of horses the Lusitano!

There are 6 different colors of the lovely Lusitano!
Aurelian Lusitano
Alabaster Lusitano
Dark Bay Lusitano
Chiffon Lusitano
Russet Lusitano
Chestnut Lusitano

Amaretto Breedables all begin with the “Starter Coats” that are sold in starter, breeder and rancher packs at the Amaretto Horse stores. The Lusitanos are considered “Starter Coats”.

Lusitano were released in the 6.01 update.

They each come with possible hidden coats and traits. The hidden coats/traits may or may not be Non-Starter. When breeding new starters together, it is important to remember that the hidden coats/traits may or may not drop in the first bundle or even the last bundle. You just never know! Remember, once a starter always a starter.

The Lusitano DOES have the ability to pass!

You can always check them out on the Wiki here:
https://horse.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=Lusitano

I really love the shading on these horses and wanted to tell you guys to watch out for these in your breedings! This is Ava over and out Happy Breeding!

6.01 Cleared Up!

$

0

Hello everyone its another Terrific Tuesday here at Amaretto, I wanted to adress a few things that I have been hearing lately.

The first thing I want to talk about is
Wing Style: Pegasus
Wing Color: Blizzard
Horn Style: Unicorn
Horn Color: Shadow
Saddle Style: Racing
Saddle Color: White

With the 6.01 the way traits were listed on horses and bundles were changed a little.
When we flipped the switch on 6.01 everyones bundles text appeared differently, that does not mean that your bundle became more traits.

So the low down on this is wing, horn, or saddle is still only 1 trait, we have separated the style and color so that we have the ability to add different styles that opens the possibility for all kinds of wings, horns, and saddles!

Now lets talk about the new headpiece trait! If you got and breed some of the Mothers Day Edition horses then you had a chance of getting a brand new trait Head Piece: Bow Fuchsia! How exciting its now the 26th trait! That means that you can have a Head Piece and horn!

So here is the maximum traits for a horse:
1 Coat (Non-Starter)
2 Eye (Non-Starter)
3 Mane (Non-Starter)
4 Tail (Non-Starter)
5 Coat Gleam
6 Coat Luster
7 Coat Gloom/Chill/Warmth/Blush/Haze/Hue
8 Coat Opal
9 Hair Gleam
10 Hair Luster
11 Hair Gloom/Chill/Warmth/Blush/Haze/Hue
12 Hair Opal
13 Branding
14 Hoof Paint/socks/leg null
15 Ear Size (scanty,lanky)
16 Ear Style (droop,droop left,droop right)
17 Class Stamina
18 Class Speed
19 Wild Hair
20 Wings/wing null
21 Bridle
22 Wing Opal
23 Horn
24 Saddle
25 Ear Tips
26 Head Piece

How many awesome combos and different looks you can put on any horse!

The other thing I want to mention is Starter DOS bundles!
Here is what it says on the wiki:
When breeding new starters together, it is important to remember that the hidden coats/traits may or may not drop in the first bundle or even the last bundle. You just never know!

Also starter can pass new traits as a hidden so the starter DOS can have the new awesome traits that became available in 6.01, so starters dont have to show it to throw it which is different than LEs.

Well I hope this has helped clear some things for everyone! I hope you all have a great day and happy breeding everyone! This is Ava over and out!

Expired Breeding Explained

$
0
0

Happy Hump Day Fellow Breeders!

On almost a daily basis, we continue to see people ask why they’ve gotten a bundle that says “expired breeding”. This Connection is intended to explain the reason why.

On Saturday, April 27, 2019, Amaretto released the ALL NEW 6.01 Horse update. This update is jam-packed with lots of new and exciting fixes, changes and additions. Read Josie’s connection for a detailed listing https://amarettobreedables.com/connection/?p=19131

The updater can be purchased for L$0 at any Amaretto Breedable Horse Store. Find locations here https://amarettobreedables.com/pages/locations

As with all past updates, there was a time limit for you to get your horses updated in order for them to pass viable bundles.

Per the note card from the update:

AFTER Saturday May 11, 2019 WE WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR HORSES THAT ARE NOT v6.01* HORSES MUST BE UPDATED TO V6.01 TO FUNCTION PROPERLY!

Q: What do you mean by “not function properly”?
A: ALL versions that are not v6.0 will no longer produce viable offspring. Meaning any bundle produced by all versions that are not v6.01 will have the text EXPIRED BREEDING, will not birth and cannot be fixed.

***So PLEASE update your horses before May 11, 2019

As that date is now past, any bundle dropped, from a horse that is not 6.01, will show “expired breeding”. These bundles CANNOT be repaired. DO NOT FILE A TICKET! You are advised to delete the bundle, update the horse and start again.

Remember, pregnant horses cannot be updated, but, updating female horses, in recovery, will remove their recovery period and they can begin building fervor again, immediately.

It is up to YOU to stay informed about your breedables. As Josie stated in her Connection about being proactive ( https://amarettobreedables.com/connection/?p=19341 ), we provide information to you on a daily basis via notices, blogs, Facebook, and Twitter.

Group notices are archived for 14 days and can be found by going to the Group Profile and then clicking on the Notices tab.

Connection posts are archived by month, forever! From the main Connection page ( https://amarettobreedables.com/connection/ ), go to Archives to read every Connection that has ever been posted.

Save yourself the time, effort, consumables, and loss of bundles by making sure all of your breeding horses are updated NOW!

Until next time…HAPPY BREEDING!

Memorial Day

Hello guys! I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Monday! Today is Memorial Day in America, so I thought it was only appropriate that we recognize that.

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering and honoring the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. The holiday is observed on the last Monday of May. Memorial Day was observed on May 30 from 1868 to 1970.

Many people visit cemeteries and memorials on Memorial Day, particularly to honor those who died in military service. Many volunteers place an American flag on each grave in national cemeteries.

Memorial Day is considered the unofficial start of the summer vacation season in the United States, while Labor Day marks its end on the first Monday of September.

Two other days celebrate those who serve or have served in the U.S. military: Veterans Day, which celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans; and Armed Forces Day, a minor U.S. remembrance celebrated earlier in May, specifically honoring those currently serving in the U.S. military.

Remember those who served before.
Remember those who are no more.
Remember those who serve today.
Remember them as we eat and play.
Remember our protectors-
who are not home today.
Remember them all on Memorial Day.

Happy breeding everyone! This is Ava over and out!

Breedable Spotlight: Fu K9s

Happy Hump Day Fellow Breeders!

This is the first of several upcoming Connections where I’ll tell you a little bit about some specific breedables and what inspired their creation. Today, I’m spotlighting the Fu K-9s.

What is a Fu Dog?
Chinese or Imperial Guardian Lions, are a strong feng shui symbol of power and protection. They date back to the Han dynasty (206 BC – AD 220). Typically made of stone, Fu Dogs were traditionally placed in front of Imperial palaces, tombs, government offices, temples, and the homes of government officials and the wealthy to guard against negative energy.

Although actually lions, their strong resemblance with the Chow Chow and Shih Tzu, led these figures to be called Fu/Foo Dogs in English. Fu may be translated from Chinese to mean “prosperity”.

Fu Dogs are meant to be paired with each having their own symbolic detail. The premise behind the symbolism is that the female (yin) protects the people dwelling inside the home, while the male (yang) protects the structure itself. You can tell which is which by examining what’s beneath the paws: the male dog holds a ball (representing supremacy over the world); the female dog restrains a playful cub on its back (representing nurture).

Amaretto Paradise Puppy
When you send your K-9 or kennel to our reward system called Puppy Paradise, you will receive a number of points based on the number of traits and age for a particular K-9. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can use these points to purchase an array of items from the Puppy Paradise Vendor such as Pet Food, Vaccinations and unique K9 Paradise Puppies, like the Fu K-9!

The Fu K-9 you get will be random gender and random coat. There are three different coats to collect! https://k9.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=Fu_K-9s

  • “Happiness” Fu K-9
    • Eye: Purple Jade
    • Collar: Happiness
  • “Friendship” Fu K-9
    • Eye: Green Jade
    • Collar: Friendship
  • “Prosperity” Fu K-9
    • Eye: Blue Jade
    • Collar: Prosperity

The Fu K-9s are NOT able to pass their coats or collars. However, they DO have the ability to pass their eyes (depending on the coat you receive) Purple Jade, Green Jade, and Blue Jade.

When you breed a Paradise Puppy (whether it is with another Paradise Puppy or any other K-9) you DO have an increased chance at receiving a random Enchanted K-9!

Start accumulating those Puppy Paradise points TODAY and get one of these very special Fu K-9s for your very own!

Until next time…Happy Breeding!

Hey guys! Its your favorite Ava! Or maybe your least favorite Ava! So sl sure has been busy and the blogs, forums, and facebook sure are buzzing!
So I thought I would take some time and let all of the Amaretto Community know changes that are coming to second life starting in June! I am sure that these
changes will effect everyone in one way or another.

So the good news is………………. land will be cheaper! Yay! Lets hope those landlords pass down the savings right!

The not so good news is, that starting June, 24, 2019 that Linden Labs will be making changes to their Premium Membership, these changes might effect your group space or how many offlines you may get before you cap. But those new linden house boats should help soften the blow!

So LInden Labs seems to be working on improving the grid and making changes all the way around! The point of this connection is so that you guys can stay informed. Before Amaretto i didnt check secondlifes blogs or forums, things would change and I would wonder what happened. LOL.

We are all residents in this community and I think it is very important we educated ourselves with what is going on, on the grid.

Here is a link to Linden Labs announcements and changes so take the time to keep an eye out, so you will know whats going on!

https://community.secondlife.com/blogs/entry/2557-land-price-reductions-new-premium-perks-and-pricing-changes/

Lets be proactive and keep up with the daily buzz and changes to our wonderful virtual play ground! Don’t listen to everyone else educate yourself and make your own opinion. This is Ava over and out! Happy Breeding everyone!
